Had
a bone scan today filled with radio active garbage again. This was
the tightest MRI scan I had, it actually touches your head.
082126 Monitoring blood every single day driving 50 miles round trip to get it done
081826 Back to another urologist. I have to have two more scans (this will be my 10th!) and another biopsy.
My PSA level went from 68.5 down to 15.5. Praise God!
I completed 10 rounds of radiation at the strongest level, and it was successful. The tumor went from 5 x 4 inches to less than one inch. Praise God!

I
guess I better come right out and let the Administration know about
my sudden change in health and why I am away sometimes.
I have prostate cancer, and it has spread to over ten lymph nodes. I have been told by more than one doctor that I may have about two years to live. Right now I am undergoing radiation treatments, and those treatments will continue as they address each area.
I have still been on Facebook every morning, but I am not around as much in the afternoons. I am going to the doctor every day as well as receiving radiation treatments. Sometimes I may show up as being online when I am actually away from the computer or resting.
I still feel like I have many years ahead of me, but just in case, I want to make sure this group is in good hands and can eventually be handed over to a younger generation so that the work we have built together can continue.
Right now we have some people in the Administration who are unable to help with the group. They will remain in the Administration until you decide to remove them. At the moment, we have three people who are helping DAILY in the group: Dale, Julie, and Mike. I cannot possibly read every post, let alone every comment, and neither can any one of you. Please don't get me wrong, all of you help when you can, and I greatly appreciate it.
I am suggesting that we bring on three additional moderators who are preterists and who are willing to be active in the group.
To keep a group like this going after I am gone, it will take younger, dedicated people who understand what we are teaching and care about keeping the group going in the right direction. I think we need to start arranging that now rather than waiting until it becomes necessary.
But then again, my radiation is working, I am feeling good about it, and I still feel like I am going to live to 100!
God bless you all. I love and appreciate every one of you.

My
Journey Along The Way
My Journey Along The
Way
The first urologist I went to said, "Your PSA level
is so high there is no treatment, and you will die from prostate
cancer." I thought, well, then I don't need to see you anymore.
So I did some research on where to go and found a cancer center only
20 miles away. The scans are 160 mile away. That makes for a long
day.
After more scans and finding a new doctor, an oncologist, we discussed the treatment options: hormone therapy, chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery. I was told surgery was out of the question because the tumor was too large. BTW, did I mention I had two ultrasounds and the doctors told me I had a hernia? Turns out it wasn't a hernia at all. Anyway, I started radiation the following Monday.
I completed the radiation treatments with quite a few complications, but I made it! The tumor shrank dramatically, and now I have no pain.
So what's next? I saw another urologist, and she told me I need two more scans and another biopsy. I'm thinking, then why did I choose radiation? I thought I was cured. She explained that I still need chemotherapy and then hormone treatment. All this time, I thought I just needed to choose one treatment.
One good thing she told me was, "I can see you're strong. I believe you will live longer than five years."
I told her, "It will be longer than that! If I do everything you tell me to do, I better get another 30 years."
So that's where I'm at now.
